I'm the photographer behind Pierce Legacy Photography! I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, but over time photography became so much more than a hobby.
After losing my dad, I realized just how much photos can mean. They're more than images on a screen, they're a way to hold onto the people, experiences, and moments that shape our lives.
I think it ultimately showed me that photography is about preserving the people, love, and little moments we never want to forget.
October 2026 | Pierce Legacy Photography
Is it just me, or did October absolutely FLY by?!
I swear I blinked, and suddenly we’re surrounded by Halloween decorations, the leaves are falling, and I’m already thinking about Christmas. But honestly? I’m not complaining because this fall has been one of my favorite seasons behind the camera so far.
If you’ve been following along with Pierce Legacy Photography lately, you’ve probably noticed things have been a little different around here. We’ve had pumpkin heads, ghosts, apple orchards, retro diner dates, and a whole lot of creative ideas coming to life.
And let me tell you, it’s been SO much fun.
One thing I’ve really been trying to do lately is step outside the typical photoshoot ideas.
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love a beautiful couples session with golden-hour lighting, but I also love creating something a little unexpected.
This October, I’ve been working on a bunch of styled shoots with different couples and families around Western New York.
Some of my favorites have included:
What I’ve loved most about these sessions is getting to work with people who are just as excited about trying something different as I am.
There’s something so fun about showing up with an idea, seeing how everyone makes it their own, and watching the entire concept come together.
And sometimes the best photos are the ones we didn’t even plan.

Here’s something you might not know about me if you’re newer around here.
Photography isn’t my only job!
Between working my regular job, running Pierce Legacy Photography, editing galleries, responding to emails, planning sessions, and trying to squeeze in a little personal life, my days can get pretty crazy. Some days I’m going straight from work to a photoshoot. Other days I’m spending my evenings editing, planning content, or figuring out how to turn the next random idea in my head into an actual session.
But I genuinely love it.
I’m also working on sharing a little more of what my everyday life looks like outside of the finished photos you see on Instagram. I’m putting together a little “2 Days, 2 Jobs” behind-the-scenes TikTok where you’ll get to follow along with me through a couple of days of my life. Think photoshoots, driving around Western New York, editing, coffee runs, probably a little chaos, and everything else that goes into running this business. Because as much as I love sharing the final galleries, there’s SO much that happens before those photos ever make it onto your screen.

As much fun as I’ve had coming up with all these creative concepts, my favorite part has genuinely been meeting and working with so many different people. One of the biggest things I want people to experience when they book with me is feeling comfortable enough to just have fun. That’s my job to help with!
Some sessions involve running around, laughing, dancing, or doing something completely ridiculous. Others are slower, quieter, and more intimate. And I love that no two sessions ever turn out exactly the same. Every couple, family, and person brings something different, and that’s what keeps me excited to pick up my camera.
It’s also been so cool seeing some of these ideas go from a random thought in my head to a full gallery that I get to deliver to someone. So to everyone who’s trusted me with one of my ideas lately, THANK YOU. Seriously.

Okay, I know Halloween hasn’t even happened yet, but can we talk about how close the holiday season is?! I’m definitely not ready to say goodbye to fall just yet, but I’ve already started working on some exciting things for November and December.
And yes… Christmas minis are officially in the works!! 🎄
I’m keeping most of the details a little secret for now, but I’ll be sharing more information very soon.
If you’ve been wanting updated family photos, pictures with your significant other, or just something fun for the holiday season, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out.
I’m SO excited to bring these to life, and I have a feeling they’re going to be a lot of fun.
It’s honestly crazy to think we’re already getting so close to the end of the year. This year has brought so much growth, learning, new faces, new experiences, and a whole lot of memories. And while I still have plenty of things I want to accomplish before we head into 2027, I’m really proud of how far Pierce Legacy Photography has come. I’ve been pushing myself creatively, meeting incredible people, traveling to new places, and continuing to build a business that means so much to me. If you’ve booked a session, shared one of my posts, recommended me to a friend, or even just followed along with everything I’ve been creating, thank you.
It means more than you know.
Here’s to the last couple of months of 2026, more creative ideas, more adventures, and a whole lot more memories.
Talk soon!
