I work with couples who care more about the experience than the perfectly curated Instagram photo. The ones who want to run through a field, hike to a viewpoint, explore a new city, or simply spend intentional time together while creating memories they'll actually want to look back on.
I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a degree in Public Relations, but photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. These days, you'll usually find me planning my next adventure, wandering through a farmers market, thrifting, hanging around a rugby pitch, or spending time with my two rescue dogs.
That experience shaped not only who I am, but how I approach every session. My goal isn't just to give you beautiful photos. It's to create images that bring you right back to the people, places, and moments that matter most.
My dad had a camera around his neck for most of my childhood. Long before I ever considered becoming a photographer, he was documenting our everyday moments, the ones that seemed small at the time but mean everything now.
When I lost him to ALS in high school, photography became something much deeper for me. Those photographs became pieces of him I could hold onto. They reminded me what his laugh sounded like, how he looked at the people he loved, and moments I never wanted to forget.
A few years ago, I had photos taken with my family, including my dad. Today, those photos are some of my most treasured possessions. They're the photos I'll pull out years from now when my future kids ask about their grandpa. They'll get to see his smile, the way he looked at us, and a small piece of who he was.
My hope is that years from now, you'll look back at your gallery and not just remember what the moment looked like, but exactly how it felt.
Let's be honest, most people don't know what to do when a camera is pointed at them. I didn't either. You don't need to know how to pose, where to put your hands, or how to create those moments. That's my job.
My approach is focused on movement, connection, and creating an experience where you can simply be yourselves. Instead of forcing stiff poses, I'll guide you through prompts that help bring out real laughter, genuine emotion, and the moments that make your story unique.
Whether you're nervous, camera-shy, or convinced you're awkward in photos, I've got you. You can show up exactly as you are, and I'll take care of the rest.
